1899 is the premier indoor golf and craft cocktail lounge in NE Ohio. We are a place to gather with friends, enjoy great food & drink, and play 18 holes on more than 400 courses from around the world! We offer seven state-of-the-art TrackMan simulators, a craft cocktail bar with premium spirits, elevated bar food, a 1,600 sq. ft. patio with fire pits, and our incredible 9-hole Magnolia putting course. Want a top-notch lounge? Come inside, and you'll want to stay a while. It's like the country club experience without the country club fees. We're relaxed, refined and for everyone.
The vibe is casual, but upscale; the menu is fun, but foodies will like it, too. 1899 offers an unexpected menu and delicious hand-crafted drinks, local beers, fine wines and, of course, outstanding bourbon, scotch and tequila.
Why 1899?
Why is it called 1899 Indoor Golf? We get that question a lot. 1899 is a significant year in the history of golf in our home state of Ohio. The first Ohio public golf course, Ottawa Park, was established in Toledo (and is still operational today). That same year, on April 11 to be exact, Colburn Haskell, an avid golfer, and Bertram G. Work, an employee of the B.F. Goodrich Company in Akron, received a patent for the first rubber golf ball. We like to think we're keeping that spirit of innovation and community alive with 1899 Indoor Golf, a premier golf experience in the great golfing state of Ohio.
