It roughly takes 1 hour for the average golfer to play 18 holes at 1899. Because all golfers play at a different pace we can’t guarantee you will complete all 18 holes during your reservation.
In an effort to consistently provide an on-time and optimal experience for all of our guests, please note your time in the hitting bay will end 5 minutes before the end of your reservation period. For example a one-hour reservation at 10:00 AM will conclude play at 10:55 AM and a two-hour reservation will end at 11:55 AM. This allows adequate time for you and your group to gather your belongings and exit the bay in a timely manner and assure the group behind you can start on time. We thank you in advance for your cooperation with this policy as this will ensure an on-time start for you at your reserved time on every visit!
Everyone plays and enjoys the game at a different pace, just like outdoors, but in general it takes approximately 45 minutes per person to play 18 holes.
- 1 player = about 1 hour
- 2 players = 1.5 hours to 2 hours
- 4 players = 3 hours to 3.5 hours

Yes! Our indoor golf simulator bar, food and drink menus are just as good as the golf. All three locations have different menu options, but all are made with fresh, local ingredients.
Canton and Twinsburg offer elevated bar food with shareable plates and delicious bites. Our Shaker Heights location has a full-service restaurant separate from the golf bays.
We also have our own mixologist who develops our drink menus. Our drinks are truly hand-crafted. We make all our own simple syrups and use only premium juices and top-shelf liquors.
We get that question a lot. 1899 is a significant year in the history of golf in our home state of Ohio. The first Ohio public golf course, Ottawa Park, was established in Toledo (and is still operational today). That same year, on April 11 to be exact, Colburn Haskell, an avid golfer, and Bertram G. Work, an employee of the B.F. Goodrich Company in Akron, received a patent for the first rubber golf ball.
We like to think we’re keeping that spirit of innovation and community alive with 1899 Indoor Golf, a premier indoor golf simulator and bar experience in the great golfing state of Ohio.
