1899 Indoor Golf, Northeast Ohio’s premier indoor golf experience was the vision of founders Brian Lindenbaum and John-Michael Speelman. Brian and JM took the initial leap of faith in bringing the 1899 concept to the area in the fall of 2018. Not a driving range, not sports bar, 1899 is an oasis for golfers and non-golfers alike with an upscale atmosphere, lively music and a cool/casual vibe like nowhere else! In 2019, life-long Clevelander and PGA Member Scott Pollack joined the 1899 team as Managing Partner of the new Twinsburg location. Scott brings 30 years of experience in the game and business of golf to help guide and execute the 1899 vision.

Why “1899”? The year 1899 is significant to the history of golf in the state of Ohio. That year the first public golf course, Ottawa Park, was established in Toledo and is still operational today. That same year, on April 11, 1899, to be exact, Coburn Haskell, an avid golfer, and Bertram G. Work, an employee of the B.F. Goodrich Company in Akron, Ohio, received a patent for the first rubber golf ball. Now over 100 years later, we are keeping that spirit of innovation and community alive with 1899 Indoor Golf, a premier indoor golf experience in the great golfing state of Ohio.
